Al Jeory of Jaguar Land Rover to lead the Odette Council

As President, Jeory will lead the debate on the major supply chain management issues facing the European automotive industry and provide guidance to the Odette Board on future priorities, as well as being the ‘face’ of Odette at industry events.

Jeory said, “I am honoured to take on this important role, Odette provides a unique collaboration platform where business experts can expand their horizons and learn from best in class experiences. Odette puts highly skilled experts and experienced managers around the table in order to find solutions to the everyday challenges facing the automotive supply chain. No one is selling anything and everyone has the common objective to improve the efficiency of the European automotive industry within the global economy”. 

Jeory feels that in these times of political, economic and technical turmoil, it is more important than ever to work together to maintain a robust automotive supply chain. He recognises the tremendous benefits which arise from having greater consistency across the industry and believes that international standards are the key to achieving this. He said, “The work of Odette is known throughout the industry and OEMs and suppliers make use of Odette standards every day”.
